My name is Tina and I was originally from Orange. It is here that my love for children started and I worked with children with additional needs in the primary school system. I relocated to the coastal town of Tuncurry in 2002 after having three children of my own. I then ventured into Early Childhood and very much enjoyed supporting and guiding 0 -5 year old’s in the preschool settings. My specialty was with sensory play and extending on children’s learning through their creativity and their imagination.

My family has grown and at present I have 6 beautiful grandchildren. Each having their own unique interests and personalities which helps drive my passion on a daily basis.

In January 2021, my whole world turned upside down after losing my father. I then took the plunge to buy my own business and I still thank my dad for the encouragement I needed. Lunar Bay was created. A children’s boutique where I wanted people to feel welcome in a safe and positive environment to share their story and offer playful learning activities & resources along the way.

 

Lunar Bay was created with the vision to offer children a unique experience by providing educational toys, books, puzzles, activities & accessories to extend their leaning through play. At the same time we offer baby products and all mum’s & bubs needs.
